PBEC Sponsors AFF - Chairman Emeritus speak on China-ASEAN opportunities Print E-mail
PBEC sponsored the Asian Financial Forum (AFF) for the 5th consecutive year on 14-15 January at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. In this two-day event, AFF focused on the lingering sovereign debt crisis in the Eurozone, a tepid recovery in the US, and the slowdown in emerging markets.

Henry Luk, and Directors Moses Cheng and Bernard Pouliot meeting by the PBEC sponsor area.

Dr. Vachara interviewed at the Forum
Under the theme "Asia: Shaping the Next Global Landscape", the 2013 Asian Financial Forum (AFF) featured some of the world's most respected leaders in government, financial and business sectors.

PBEC Chairman Emeritus Dr. Vachara Phanchet was invited from Bangkok to share his input on China-ASEAN business cooperation. Dr. Vachara shared his input on the business opportunities that come with the creation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) which is slated to take effect at the end of 2015. With China becoming an increasing investor in the global economy, ASEAN and China stand to gain from this new single market.

PBEC also hosted a private members reception and dinner at Grissini in the Grand Hyatt. The dinner has become a much anticipated and appreciated sideline event to the Forum.
