Michael Walsh (CEO @PBEC)

Michael was appointed PBEC CEO in June  2019 and has overseen the organisation from its Hong Kong Secretariat base through a challenging period with the social unrest in his first 6 months in Hong Kong and the subsequent Covid-19 outbreak in 2020 shortly after a successful physical AGM2019 that had been postponed to January 2020 due to the unrest, had been concluded. Michael is previously from the aviation industry for the past 24 years and has utilised his skills in sales and marketing as well as his networking to invigorate PBEC despite the many challenges. PBEC is now very much re-engaged with several global institutions at a working level including the transportation working group at APEC amongst others. This bodes well for PBEC future offerings and benefits as it embarks on a path of engagement, inclusiveness and opportunity for its members across the region and looking to attract new blood, young and old to expand its reach once again.
