PacifiCall in Hawaii
Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle welcomed PacifiCall CEO Rob Romero as the Silicon Valley start-up announced the relocation of its headquarters to Honolulu. PacifiCall plans to join PBEC to expand its wireless phone technology to Asia.

Hawaii Welcomes Taipei Mayor
PBEC President Dalton Tanonaka joined Hawaii's Chinese community on January 21, 2003, in welcoming Taipei Mayor Ma Ying-Jeou to Honolulu. Mayor Ma was in Hawaii to attend an Aspen Institute event on Lanai.

PBEC Meets With APEC Director
Ambassador Piamsak Milintachinda, the new Executive Director of APEC, met yesterday with PBEC President Dalton Tanonaka for a wide-ranging discussion on key issues facing both regional organizations in the coming year.

PBEC Chairman Visits Hawaii
PBEC Chairman Mr. S.R. Cho will be the featured guest at the inaugural PBEC Power Lunch, a monthly event for current and prospective members of the PBEC International Hawaii Association (PIHA).
