PBEC – Pacific Basin Economic Council is delighted to have been a co-host of a CPTPP speaker discussion at AmCham HK, together with Asia Business Trade Association and Canadian Chamber of Commerce (Canada).
One of the main takeaways arose when Catherine Simmons spoke about the need to educate the general public on trade related issued – showing us what global trade has brought us, and will continue to bring us, and hence, the dire need to educate the general public of the importance of borderless trade. This is what PBEC believes in and aims to enhance by connecting the private and public sectors in the Pacific and beyond, creating a sustainable tomorrow.
