PBEC Chairman & Regional Senior Partner of KPMG in Hong Kong and the vice-chairman of KPMG China, spoke at “Project Investment Session: New Market” at the 8th Belt and Road Summit 2023 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai on Sept 14, 2023 and was also the Co-ordinator at the 6th Annual Roundtable of the Belt and Road Global Forum that over 180 business leaders, NGO’s and Government officials attended both in person and online held later on in the afternoon of Sept 14, 2023.
The discussion was under this years theme of Reshaping the Economic Landscape through Enhanced Collaboration, Building Resilience to Supply Chain Risk and Opportunities under the New Economic Reality.
Both Government officials and business representatives from various countries voiced out their optimism about development and cooperation, sharing their views and exchanged insights into promoting business collaboration along countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as multilateral cooperation and concrete business opportunities. It was the highest attended meeting since it was introduced on the sidelines of the Belt and Road Summit in 2017.
