Asia Economic and Entrepreneuship Summit

Co-organized by PBEC and KSI and hosted by Tan Sri Michael Yeo, President of KSI, the Asia Economic and Entrepreneuship Summit kicked off with the opening remark given by Michael Walsh, Chief Executive of PBEC. The summit aimed to bring together leaders, thinkers, influencers from government business, academic institutions, think tanks and civil society to discuss the economic future of Asia especially in light of the recent trade war.

During the event, Michael had the opportunity to meet with The Hon Dato Seri Mohamed Azman Ali, Minister of Economic Affairs, Malaysia where the two shared some insightful views on the economy of ASEAN. Michael was also one of the panelist on the Connectivity in ASEAN – Challenges and Opportunities discussion, alongside Prof. Dato’ Dr Chin Yew Sin, JP of Global One Belt One Road Association Shazali Sulaiman of The Brunei Darussalam International Chamber of Commerce and Industry,EI SUN OH 胡逸山, Principal Advisor from the Pacific Research Center and Alexander Wan, Chairman of China CEO Roundtable. This event emphasizes on how PBEC connects the private and government sector, which is vital to us working towards a more sustainable economy for tomorrow.
