PBEC went on the road and hosted two roundtable luncheons for members and guests and conducted a site visit in KL and HCMC in – Apr 2024

In Vietnam we attend the Horasis China meeting followed by hosting a roundtable luncheon at Lotte Hotel back in HCMC and welcomed PBEC members the likes of Ong & Ong, KPMG Vietnam, Bonds Group of Companies HK, RMIT University Vietnam, Sunwah Group Vietnam, VinaCapital, Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam, CRBE Vietnam, Act Renewable, International Engineering Solutions, Transportation Law Firm, CEL Consulting, ESG expertise, leading Internationally renowned Business and Politician Coach. When speaking and listening to several Chinese business leaders who came to Vietnam for the Horasis Meeting the other destination they mentioned frequently in conversation was Mexico. I believe Mexico & Brazil are witnessing a similar flow of industrial FDI investment capital from China that is a lot more than in the past years.

In Malaysia we visited French Manufacturer Dassault Falcon Aviation newest maintenance, repair and overhaul center that they invested in through Execujet Malaysia for serving the growing business aviation sector in Asia. It’s a state of the art sustainable building and hangar facility, low voltage, solar panels, water collection and recycle waste are taking advantage of natural sunlight just a few features to mention. We welcomed the Deputy Trade & Investment Minister of Malaysia Liew Chin Tong seen here with PBEC’s CEO Michael Walsh along side many local business leaders and MATRADE representatives. A special thanks to Ivan Lim GM team at Execujet Malaysia for hosting us. We were the first non-aviation delegation to visit after it officially opened on 24th March.

We followed this with a high level and well attended roundtable luncheon with Malaysia business leaders, including Malaysia-China Business Association leadership, CCB Malaysia, Paddee Connexions and Powerwell amongst others…..
