Mr. Sebastian Man

Chairman & CEO – Chung Mei International Holdings

Sebastian Man is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Chung Mei International Holdings Limited. Chung Mei is a manufacturer of domestic kitchen electrics and air treatment products. It manufactures small household electrical appliances on an OEM/ODM basis for major international brands round the world. The manufacturing facilities are in Dongguan, China.

Sebastian is also very active in community services. He was a director of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. He was a charter member and the first (1996) President of the Lions Club, Metropolitan Chapter in HK. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). He is the Hong Kong City Chair of Chief Executive Organization (“CEO”). He was a member of HK Trade Development Council Electronics/Electrical Appliances Industries Advisory Committee. He is a Standing Vice President of the Hong Kong Electrical Appliances Manufacturers Association. He is an Excom member of Pearl River Delta Council, Federation of Hong Kong Industries. He is also a member of Vision 2047 Foundation and a founding member of HK Professionals and Senior Executives Association. He is also a council member of The Better Hong Kong Foundation. He is a member of the court of The University of Hong Kong.

Sebastian was the Co-President of Harvard Business School Association of Hong Kong from 2006 to 2008 and is now a director of the Association. In addition, Sebastian served on the Harvard Business School Alumni Board from 2012 to 2015. He serves on the Board of the Corporation Development Committee and the Innovation Node Hong Kong alumni advisory group of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is on the Board of Trustees of Cate School, USA.

Sebastian is an Honorary President of Man Clansmen Association. Since 1999, he has been a board member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Shenzhen-Baoan Committee and is also the Vice Chairman of the Return of Chinese Fellowship Association, Shenzhen-Baoan and is a Councilor of Hunan Youth Exchange Promotion Association Ltd.

He is an Executive Committee Member of the International Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong China Business Council (ICC). He is a member of HK Council of Volunteering (HKCOV), a committee member of Agency for Volunteer Service (AVS) and a committee member of HK, China Committee of United Nations Volunteers (UNV).

Sebastian holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering at MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
