Mary has been a senior leader in event management, marcomms, and business development for over 20 years.
Originally from Australia and now based in Hong Kong since 2011, she has a proven track record in successfully leading large-scale events, high-profile marketing campaigns, and complex business development initiatives for professional services and member-based organisations.
As a member of ICAEW’s International Leadership Team, she oversees Australasia, Hong Kong, North America, South America, and the Caribbean and leads teams based in Hong Kong and the UK. Mary is responsible for building strategic engagement with financial industry leaders and regional stakeholders, driving growth and retention in membership, developing and implementing corporate communications plans, and event management.
Mary is also active within the Hong Kong business community and is a co-opted member of the British Chamber of Commerce Board. Previously, as Director of Events and Sponsorship for the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (AmCham), Mary grew AmCham’s annual event offering from 250 to 400+ programs and worked closely with AmCham’s Board of Governors, committee leadership, members, HKSAR Government officials, US Government officials, trade associations and key stakeholders
